why MYOB?

why MYOB?

..........it is not just a senseless string of words but I claim it to be a noble cause. It is not just politically correct but the key , a very commanding phrase of stopping meddling, the act of getting into the affairs of others.

Now going back to the promised list of instances ( where MYOB is badly needed !!) ; )

showing the most debilitating effects of meddling..

-failed marriages because of the infamous "biyenan-superiority complex"
-this cause for unnatural behavior: being conscious of what other people will say, you tend to conform, making you live in a shell that you dont want.
-if you're the meddler: it will be obviously branding you as "insecure", you can't act on your own, you feed on the misfortune of other people. This is detrimental to growth as this keeps the meddler from focusing on her own progress.
-if you've been meddled upon: consider the feeling of helplessness, things that you should've resolve now gets complicated.
-causes animosity between the meddler and the meddled upon
-meddling is also synanimous to rumor mongering, the act of spreading rumor like wildfire..This is the most absurd and adverse of all which does not only involve two parties but a number, even including a whole community. Gossip or rumors always has resulted to an enourmous circus.
-meddling may also be an end-result of the so-called "crab mentality": We tend to berrate or project our frustrations to people climbing up the ladder.
I could go on and on with the numerous unfavorable consequences of this abhorrent way ...till next post then. Let's see how this can make sense.. ;

MYOB

"Mind your own business" is a phrase that is well known to evryone .But people from this part of our county seem to be unaware of this.

What makes it your business and what makes it not? This is a question that may be answered by questions: Are you directly involve with the issue or not? Is your opinion being asked by the person involved? Are you allowed to act on it? How sure are you that you know everything? Are you morally obligated to be part of it?

The list of questions may seem endless but by answering just the very first question should make you aware if its your business or not.

This topic came to mind as I am perfectly aware that a lot of lives were affected by MYOB. I know that there is a truth to the saying that "you make your own life" but this is a complete parody of MYOB. You are only in complete control of things within your bounds. But when people start going beyond MYOB, other factors are now engaged in the cycle. Will it be within your control then?

MYOB, historically came from the phrase " mind your own beeswax" depicting time when women would sit together and make beeswax. This eventually evolved to the saying Mind your own business which stemmed from a story depicting civil disobedience. ( source: wikipedia).

Now, going back to the impact of people not doing the MYOB, i could enumerate many instances or incidence why it has a negative bearing.

I will end my post for today..hoping to collate as much as real life stories telling people to MYOB.
